Music Muse...

(Nice Topic name..although it should be more like songs something..)

Mahi ve..teri yaad aati hai re..reminds me of some one..like so many other songs which remind me of some one or the other...for eg..there is this song "ruthe to ruthe saara zamana..ishq chanariya odh ke dil me aana..". Dont know from which movie. This song reminds me of my driver in atlanta...L aka T..Although he's firang, he loves hindi songs..so he used to mime along with this song..although there are many other songs which he used to mime, but this song reminds me of him. :
we had this group of 5-6 people staying together in ATL. they used to call L "T", although God only knows the reason why...poor L, he is still baffled , u know...y for all the names ,T??"

Songs, music and lyrics...

I love songs...and I can study, work and sleep with earphones plugged in... b4 we got a pc at home, we had this humble stereo...i preferred radio as u get to hear many songs...and also u dont hav to go and rewind/change the casette...may be that is the reason I can humm along many old hindi songs..
I started listening english songs after college...very late!! I like songs which are easy on ears and brain..so no hard rock and guns'n'roses for me...
The first English song I listened to was Lady in Red...very old song..and then My heart will go on..these two songs i heard when i was still in college..
my pardes trip made me more aware of genres..specially as my driver was a big time music lover (he has a laptop..)and used to tell me about rock, soft rock, hip hop, r&b etc etc...I also heard Rob Thomas for first time..

I like many many many songs...I like Aksar - Shaan, dil hai ki manta nahi, Bindaas, banda ye bindaas hai, do dil tute do dil haare...the list is endless..there are very few albums which can be listened to start from end..without jumping to next song...some of my fav albums are: 1942 A Love Story, Dil Se, Deewaana - Sonu Nigam

angrezi songs mein i like Bryan Adams, Rob Thomas, Ronan Keating..(specially "I hope u dance",Shaggy - u r my angel, Shakira - Hips dont lie
Careless Whispers etc etc..
I love Garvaan(a marathi song..very very beautiful)

the first one....

I was hit with this idea of blogging 'coz of many reasons, some of these being..(Well actually two of these being..)
1. currently I dont have any work to do(officially idling time...)
2. I am too lazy to write in a diary and whatever I do write, becomes oiled and old and ends up in bin...
so trying this..

Starting my stint..

When I rewrote my first blog..(which was 1 min back) I realised that I have started using every possible text in bulleted form..May be the result of writing official mails and mails to HR, ADMIN etc for my grievances...

I have closed this window so many times now..(yup..without logging off..)I can not decide whether I should this blogging thing or not..

any ways..now that I am writing....

There are quite a few things that give me immense pleasure...and one is rattling off the name of books I hav read(especially to ill read ppl)..I know how VAIN..but that's me...and onw of the reason was to maintain an online record of books I hav read and I wud like to read...
